I wrote a column Thursday about how the human trafficking trial of Mumtaz Ladha was stood down until Monday because of the difficulty in finding a translator. I mentioned that there are so few Africans in British Columbia that they aren’t even mentioned in the Statistics Canada table of selected ethnic origins taken from the 2006 census.
